  1. 5 FM NYE bash – Shaun rocked the crowd and set the tone for what was a New Year’s Eve to remember!  Not to mention setting the tone for the year ahead!
  2. All Fashion Week after parties:  Shaun is the preferred DJ for all the hottest fashion houses and labels and keeps the models and audience entertained at the hottest SA Fashion Week runway shows. 
  3. Pop Bottles – Shaun recently joined forces with this, the premium Jozi hip-hop party brand, to throw the party of the decade at St Yves in Cape Town.   The party was off the hook and people are begging for more!
  4. Shaun also rocked Mzoli’s on the same day as the Pop Bottles party with Euphonik and Fresh – showing that a white boy can rock a black-only crowd just as well as anyone…

Shaun’s video blog is the first of its kind to be released by one of SA’s top DJ’s and will no doubt make waves in the entertainment industry, and will be a tool that Shaun utilizes every summer moving forward.

Shaun’s biography:

The longevity and continued success of Shaun Duvet’s DJ career is owed to his finely tuned ear and love for music.  He also prides himself on his eclecticism and music selection— all qualities which consistently produce kick-ass parties and have garnered Shaun a loyal following. 

Since he started playing music 15 years ago he has worked with industry heavyweights the likes of Ministry of Sound, Buddha Bar, The Playboy Mansion, Global Underground, Hed Kandi as well as a plethora of established international artists including: Fatboy Slim, Chris Lake, Erick Morillo, The Stanton Warriors, Goldie, Cut La Roc, Krafty Kuts, Ali B, Kaskade, Martin Solveig, Harrison Crump, Mylo, Basement Jaxx,  Gilles Peterson, Mr Scruff, Tom Neville, Mark Knight, The Audio Bullys, Pete Tong, Seamus Haji, Layo & Bushwacka!, Black Twang, DJ Craze, Blackalicious, Jazzanova, James Lavelle, Shane Watcha, The Freestylers, Danny Rampling, Norman Jay, Dirty South and Danny Howels to name a few (!).

Shaun’s Cape Town based nightclub, the Bang Bang Club (BBC), is in its 4th year of operation and is still the #1 spot for clubbers and party-goers from Cape Town and around the world to see and be seen.  Shaun is resident there every Friday night when he’s not travelling for national and international gigs and regularly flies international DJ’s into SA to play at the club.
